Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care (ADDC) Seminar
This memory care services training program (ADDC seminar) meets the Arizona new Memory Care Services regulations; R9-10-122, for staff and contractors who work at an Assisted Living facility that is licensed to provide directed care services. A participant who successfully completes and is awarded the ADDC Certificate of Attendance, may qualify to apply for the Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credential through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP).
ADDC Seminar
- Our initial, annual and managers ADDC seminar is approved by the Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) and is required for those who work at an assisted living facility that is licensed to provide directed care services.
This ADDC seminar may qualify for pursuing a CDP certification through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.
Qualifications
Anyone can attend the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar. If you are pursuing certification as a CDP, you must complete the initial Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care seminar through our approved instructors. The seminar is just one of the requirements for those pursuing certification as a CDP®.
